WOMEN: America’s Heroines and Their Legacy
As the writer, director and producer of the Off-Broadway play One Nation, One Mission, One Promise, Victoria featured the inspirational stories of a number of amazing women from American history, both famous and less well-known. Their stories resonated so strongly with her audiences that she now features them, and several others not even in the play, presenting their legacy as a call to action for today’s generation of young women, and anyone else who cares to listen.
Reconnecting with the Promise of America
Victoria uses the example of the Charters of Freedom to remind us all that we can indeed step outside our day-to-day turmoil to focus on “bigger and more meaningful issues.” In fact, she reminds us all that it is critical to our spirit and sense of value in what we do. She also profiles the stories of carefully chosen famous and not-so-famous Americans (unsung heroes and heroines) who have largely come from nothing and achieved something stupendous! These stories are designed to stimulate her audience to consider a more compelling vision for their own futures and thereby trigger greater aspiration in their own lives.
Leading a Life that Matters
Victoria acknowledges that the development of the nation, its mature and sophisticated citizenship, is still a work in progress and will continue to be so for generations to come. She also states that it is important for us to recognize that we have the foundation to strive for a bigger cause, whatever that is for each one of us. This is impossible to even consider in many other countries around the world. Maybe some of us can aspire to operate on a grand level to change the quality of life of millions of people. Maybe some of us find it easier to aspire to be a positive influence in whatever our own personal world and circles are. It could be going to college and achieving academic excellence, it could be developing a successful and enjoyable environment at work, or it could be making a difference through charitable work, and it could just be being a role model at home for your family. Whatever it is, it all starts at home, it all starts with us taking leadership in our own lives, developing a vision for our own purpose. This is the fundamental core of Leading A Life That Matters! This is Victoria’s inspirational message.
